We went to Arete for help with one of our corgis who showed a lot of nervousness when outside on walks.
I enjoyed Indi's knowledge and the ease of how he explained everything to me. He communicated in a way that was easy to follow and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. He was also just really friendly and fun to be around. We really loved working with him and are so thankful for the help he gave us with Nova. We can’t say enough good things about Arete. Bryan and his team are absolutely amazing. They have been highly dedicated to the success our dog. We reached out to Bryan for our five-year-old Westie, Brody. We have struggled for years with his lack of obedience and barking at dogs among other behaviors. We were impressed that Bryan came to the house to meet him and to see Brody “in action” rather than just a call like other trainers offer. He was able to immediately assess what the issues were and provide a clear path to success. Something that no other trainers that we had worked with could do. We did a two-week board and train. When Brody returned, there was amazing improvement and we were extremely impressed. Even with that, when Bryan brought him home, he didn’t perform to Bryan’s standard and he took him back for a few more days. Brody has proven to be a tough “nut to crack” and we have needed to continue working past the time we had all anticipated. This hasn’t been a deterrent for Bryan. He has continued to work with us tirelessly. Through meeting up, group sessions, phone calls, and texts, he has maintained that support that Arete promises when you sign up to work with them. This guarantee has literally been like gold to us. We have never felt more supported with Brody than we have with Arete. At times when we have felt discouraged, they are there for us. Always encouraging, always positive, always pleasant, and never leaving us feeling alone with any issue that we have. Although he has made significant strides, Brody continues to be stubborn and challenging in his training, but Bryan and Shannon have been nothing but supportive and continue to be there for us. They are absolutely THE BEST! With how invested they are in the success of Brody, they feel like family to us. To say that we recommend them would be an understatement. Bryan did a fantastic job helping me work through my rescue pups fear issues. He really helped me know how to help her. She has turned into such a great companion and I’ve been amazed at her progress not only with obedience but with her confidence.

Indi was so knowledgeable and great to work with. He was able to answer all our questions and address the concerns we had with our dog. We saw dramatic improvements in our dog’s behavior in the short time we worked with him. We appreciated the homework that was given each week, it was easy and quick things to work on between each session.  We also appreciated the flexibility if our schedules changed for training sessions.
